American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) conducted its annual Ramadan Food Drive on Friday in Richmond Hill, Queens. APAG Cares team distributed Ramadan essential food items like Atta, Rice, Chana, Dall, Besan, Tea Bag, Dates, Rooh Afza, Sawiyan, fruits, produce, bread, eggs and much more. Community came in large numbers and appreciated APAG cares team efforts to conduct Ramadan drive to help feed the people in need.
American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) Winter Clothing Drive at Makki Masjid Muslim Community Center in Brooklyn. The drive was held with the goal of keeping our community warm. APAG Cares team distributed new jackets, blazers, socks, gloves and hats to the community and people in need. It’s all about giving back to the community.
American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) conducted their annual Holiday Toy Drive. This year APAG cares in collaboration with NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs provided toys to recently migrated children at the Navigation Center located in the Red Cross NY Headquarters. NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs Commissioner Manuel Castro along with APAG Cares team distributed toys to the children. APAG Cares will continue to work and assist the community in need.
American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares conducted their third annual Thanksgiving Drive. APAG Cares team distributed Halal turkeys and chickens along with food packages to the community. The response by the community was overwhelming which serves as yet another reminder that the food insecurity is still relevant in these high inflammation times. Our food packages consisted of fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, bread, juice, yogurt and other non perishable items.

APAG Cares participated in the 38th annual Pakistani Day Parade in NYC. While it was a time to celebrate the culture and heritage, it was also a sad and emotional time because of recent floods in Pakistan. During the parade a lot of efforts were directed to provide aid to Flood Relief victims and NYC Mayor Eric Adams joined to appreciate the community & offer condolences for lives lost in the floods.
