 American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) conducted their annual Holiday Toy Drive. This year APAG cares in collaboration with NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs provided toys to recently migrated children at the Navigation Center located in the Red Cross NY Headquarters. NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs Commissioner Manuel Castro along with APAG Cares team distributed toys to the children. APAG Cares will continue to work and assist the community in need.  

American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares conducted their third annual Thanksgiving Drive. APAG Cares team distributed Halal turkeys and chickens along with food packages to the community. The response by the community was overwhelming which serves as yet another reminder that the food insecurity is still relevant in these high inflammation times.  Our food packages consisted of fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, bread, juice, yogurt and other non perishable items. 

 The American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares), conducted a Back to School Drive in Richmond Hill, Queens. APAG Cares team distributed free backpacks and school supplies to children.

It was so heartwarming to see smiles on the children faces as they get ready to go back to school. Thanks to all APAG Cares members and volunteers who participated in this noble cause.

 APAG Cares participated in the 38th annual Pakistani Day Parade in NYC. While it was a time to celebrate the culture and heritage, it was also a sad and emotional time because of recent floods in Pakistan. During the parade a lot of efforts were directed to provide aid to Flood Relief victims and NYC Mayor  Eric Adams joined to appreciate the  community & offer condolences for lives lost in the floods.

American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) conducted a Ramadan Food Drive on Friday in Queens. APAG Cares team distributed Atta, Rice, Chana, Dall, Besan, Tea Bag, Dates, Rooh Afza, Sawiyan, fruits, produce, bread, eggs, and much more. Also, fresh-cooked halal meals were distributed courtesy of the migrant kitchen initiative.

American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) continue to assist the community and held a Food Drive on Friday in Queens. With the goal of helping to feed our neighbors in need. APAG distributed Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Bread, Eggs, Yogurt, and other grocery items to anyone in need. It’s all about giving back to the community.

American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares (APAG Cares) Winter Clothing Drive was held this Saturday in New York with the goal of keeping our community warm. APAG team distributed new jackets, socks, gloves, hats and masks to the community and people in need. 

  APAG Cares in collaboration with ICNA Relief and Kingsland Properties,  distributed free backpacks and school supplies to children  in Jamaica

 In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the APAG Cares team distributed fresh turkey, food packages and PPE
